Tyrone will travel to Ballybofey this weekend to take on Donegal in the All-Ireland SFC preliminary quarter-finals while Antrim manager Andy McEntee faces his native Meath in the Tailteann Cup semi-final on Sunday at Croke Park.
The draws for the preliminary quarter-finals in the All-Ireland series and the semi-finals of the Tailteann Cup were made on Monday morning and threw up some intriguing pairings.
One of the main contenders for the Sam Maguire will bow out this weekend after Connacht champions Galway were pitted against rivals Mayo.

Kildare will have home advantage against Monaghan, although that game will be played at a neutral venue in Leinster as St Conleth’s Park in Newbridge is closed for redevelopment.
Cork will take on Roscommon at Páirc Uí Chaoimh and the CCCC will confirm the times of the games later this afternoon.
Both Tailteann Cup semi-finals will be played as a double-header at Croke Park on Sunday with Down facing Laois and Antrim taking on Meath.
Andy McEntee managed the Royals for six seasons before stepping down last year.
Armagh and Derry booked their place in the All-Ireland quarter-finals by topping their respective groups at the weekend.
Ulster champions Derry were six point winners over Clare with Colm Collins ending his 10-year tenure in charge of the Banner after the game.
In Omagh, Donegal pulled off a surprise 0-19 to 0-17 win to pip Monaghan for second place in Group Four and earn home advantage for the preliminary quarter-finals.
Armagh joined Derry in the last eight with a brilliant 0-16 to 1-12 win over Galway in Carrick-on-Shannon.
In Cavan, John Heslin missed a last-gasp free to knock Tyrone out of the Championship as Westmeath drew 0-18 each with the Red Hands.
Cork’s surprise victory over Mayo allowed Kerry to top Group One and progress to the quarter-finals while Louth bowed out after their 5-24 to 0-11 defeat to the Kingdom.
Dublin enjoyed a facile 3-23 to 0-8 win over Sligo in Kingspan Breffni to top Group Four while Kildare’s one-point win over Roscommon in Tullamore gave them second spot.
The four group winners will have an extra week to prepare for the All-Ireland quarter-finals, which are scheduled for July 1 and July 2 with Croke Park expected to host the games as two double-headers on that weekend.
In the Tailteann Cup, Down secured a shock win over last year’s beaten finalist Cavan while Meath defeated Wexford and Laois got the better of Limerick.
On Sunday, Antrim withstood a late fightback from Carlow at Corrigan Park with Dominic McEnhill scoring 0-11 for the Saffrons.
