Two Ulster teams booked their place in the All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals while three more will play in next weekend’s preliminary quarter-finals.
Ulster champions Derry were six point winners over Clare with Colm Collins ending his 10-year tenure in charge of the Banner after the game.
In Omagh, Donegal pulled off a surprise 0-19 to 0-17 win to pip Monaghan for second place in Group Four and earn home advantage for the preliminary quarter-finals.

Armagh joined Derry in the last eight with a brilliant 0-16 to 1-12 win over Galway in Carrick-on-Shannon.
That result coupled with a win for Westmeath would have knocked Tyrone out of the All-Ireland series and John Heslin had an injury-time free to do just that.
However, his effort was narrowly wide and the Red Hands survived to finish third in the group with Galway gaining home advantage for next weekend while Tyrone will be on the road to Cork, Donegal or Kildare.
Earlier in the day, Cork’s surprise victory over Mayo allowed Kerry to top Group One and progress to the quarter-finals.
The Rebels are at home in the preliminary quarter-finals following their 1-14 to 1-11 win at the Gaelic Grounds while Mayo will be away from home.
Louth are out after their 5-24 to 0-11 defeat to the Kingdom.
Dublin also enjoyed a facile 3-23 to 0-8 win over Sligo in Kingspan Breffni to top Group Four while Kildare’s one-point win over Roscommon in Tullamore gave them second spot. Roscommon took third while Sligo exited the Championship.
The four group winners will have an extra week to prepare for the All-Ireland quarter-finals on the weekend of July 1/2 while the draw for the preliminary quarter-finals take place on Monday morning on RTÉ Radio One after the 8.30am news.
The teams finishing second will have home advantage against a team finishing third and teams who’ve already met in the group stages cannot meet again.
Donegal, therefore, will host either Tyrone, Mayo or Roscommon while Monaghan will be away to Cork, Galway or Kildare.
Group winners and quarter-finalists: Kerry, Armagh, Dublin, Derry
Runners up (home advantage in preliminary quarter-finals): Cork, Galway, Kildare, Donegal
Third place (away from home in preliminary quarter-final): Mayo, Tyrone, Roscommon, Monaghan.
