All schools and nurseries in Glasgow will be closed tomorrow due to Storm Eowyn.
Glasgow City Council confirmed the closure of today on X, as Storm Eowyn is expected to bring winds of up to 90mph across Glasgow and the west on Friday.
Taking to X to share the news, the wrote: "Due to Storm Éowyn all our Schools and Council Nurseries will be closed tomorrow.
"Your school/nursery will provide further updates directly to you. Please take care."

The Met Office has warned of a “danger to life”, with the forecaster saying “very strong winds” would cause “very dangerous conditions and significant disruption on Friday."
The warning will be in place from 10am until 5pm.
ScotRail say it is working with industry partners and will share information on what impact Storm Éowyn will bring to services.
The Glasgow Warriors said their match with Connacht has been re-arranged for Sunday in the face of the storm and travelling Rangers fans have been warned ahead of the Rangers and Manchester United tomorrow as part of their Europa League campaign.
Scottish Water has advised customers that Storm Eowyn may cause issues with water supplies or flash flooding, while Glasgow Airport has warned passengers to check their flights before they travel.
ScottishPower has issued advice in the event of power cuts during Storm Eowyn - which includes having torches, phone chargers and extra blankets on hand when the storm is due to hit.
