Many flights departing from Leeds Bradford Airport this morning have so far been delayed.
Delays continue to be an ongoing issue at the airport due to a struggle with staff shortages. Flights departing between 6.05am and 8.35am this Friday morning (June 3) have been pushed back.
On top of the delayed flights, passengers also faced long 'biblical' queues from early hours - waiting in snaking queues outside the airport before the first flight had left the airport. People were spotted waiting outside in a sea of people and luggage, which trailed all the way through to security.

Last month LBA chief executive Vincent Hodder asked people to come to Leeds Bradford "no earlier than three hours" before their scheduled departure time. Mr Hodder has said that people arriving early for their flights is leading to a "blow-out of queues".
But individuals have previously shared with LeedsLive they worry that if they don't arrive early they could miss their flight due to the ongoing "shambles" and "chaos" at the airport.
The problems led to the majority of flights being delayed. According to Flight Stats, this is how departures from 6am fared today at LBA:
