The council has released a map of everywhere in Leeds people struggling with their bills can go over winter to stay warm in the day.
The 'warm places' scheme, set up by Leeds City Council, will invite people to head to places around Leeds for warm refreshments and activities. At the moment, there are 36 warm places around the city, mostly libraries and community hubs, though the council says more venues will be added as they are organised.
There will be access to wi-fi, books, and computers, as well as the family activities and warm refreshments. The scheme is intended to help people keep their energy bills down as they struggle with the cost of living this winter.

Leeds City Council's executive member for communities Councillor Mary Harland said: “We are very pleased to have the online map now live, showing the locations where people can go to keep warm, access services and get free guidance and advice to save money and keep their costs down this winter.
“As a council we are keen to work with any group or organisation who wishes to help offering additional locations across the city so we can all help each other and especially our most vulnerable residents to keep safe and well in the challenging months to come.”
