Alistair Johnston appears to have handed Brendan Rodgers an injury boost as he trained after fears over a possible concussion.
The defender was forced off in the goalless draw against Hibs on Saturday with a head knock.
Johnston had taken the ball to his face after a clearance from Ricky Bushiri. And the full-back required medical treatment after the incident.
Canadian international Johnston had played on after the knock but couldn't continue minutes later. He was replaced by Anthony Ralston.
However, Rodgers eased concerns over Johnston's condition after the match insisting it was more of an impact injury.
He said: "I just spoke to the medical team there and they said he is fine.
"It was just at that moment he just felt a wee bit funny.
"But I think overall he is fine."
Now, Celtic have received an injury boost with Johnston spotted back in training on Monday after the fears over his condition at the weekend.
Commenting on the 0-0 draw in the capital, Rodgers added: "By the time I thought we started to play at the speed and tempo that we like, it was probably too late.
"Our idea is to always to make a quick start. Actually, we were good with the ball, but we gave it away needlessly a few times by playing longer passes when we didn’t have to.
"We didn’t play with enough speed in the game. In the last 20-25 minutes, we did that, and you can see the game looked different for us, but by that stage, we just couldn’t make the breakthrough."
