The latest Alisson fitness update will be a welcome boost for Liverpool fans ahead of their Champions League match against Girona on Tuesday.
Brazilian international keeper Alisson is in line for a return to the side after more than two months out.
The 32-year-old injured his hamstring against Crystal Palace on 5 October, but has been named in the Reds’ squad for Tuesday’s trip to Girona.
Alisson has missed 11 games in total, with Irish international Caoimhin Kelleher filling in for Liverpool.
Arne Slot named Alisson in his 19-man travelling squad for Tuesday’s game, with the keeper training alongside the team on Monday.

“So happy to be back,” he posted on Instagram.
Manager Arne Slot confirmed Alisson was in line for a return in his pre-game press conference.
He said: “Alisson is back and he’s fit, ready to play tomorrow against Girona”.
Kelleher Proves His Worth In Alisson’s Absence
With Liverpool no.1 Alisson injured, Caoimhin Kelleher has proven once again why he is possibly the best backup goalkeeper in the Premier League.
He has kept five clean sheets in 11 games, two of those coming against Real Madrid and Manchester City.
He was at fault for Fabian Schar’s equaliser as Liverpool drew 3-3 at Newcastle, though.
Nevertheless, he has impressed and taken his opportunity with both hands. Alisson is still Liverpool’s first-choice keeper, but Kelleher has done his reputation no harm during his spell between the Anfield posts.
Elsewhere, Diogo Jota also took part in training on Monday. The Portuguese forward has been out since 20 October with a chest injury.
He has not been named in Arne Slot’s travelling squad for Girona, but it is hoped he will return soon.
Liverpool have won all five of their Champions League games so far, and are the only side still with a perfect winning record.
