Alisson Becker believes Liverpool supporters have a "massively important" role to play in helping Jurgen Klopp's side transform their spluttering season.
The Reds suffered another setback at the weekend when they were held to a 3-3 home draw by Brighton and Hove Albion to continue their worst start to a Premier League season in a decade.
Jurgen Klopp's side turn their focus to the Champions League on Tuesday as they host Scottish side Rangers in what is likely to be a boisterous atmosphere in the first-ever competitive meeting between the teams.

And Alisson, one of the few Liverpool players to emerge with any credit this season, has explained how the pandemic season played largely behind closed doors has underlined the impact supporters can make on the Reds' efforts.
"Atmosphere is essential for a football player, for me particularly," said the Reds goalkeeper. "I think we play football for ourselves, for our families, but we play for the people as well - for the supporters and for our team.
"When the supporters are by the pitch, inside the ground, they are part of what you are doing so it's massively important to have them helping you.
"When we played the Merseyside derby with no fans, for instance, it didn't look like a derby, just like a normal game whereas this season they (Everton) had two big chances and a goal disallowed, but the crowd made it look like they were creating so many chances because they got excited.
"To be honest it wasn't the best to play with no supporters (even at Everton) but I think it was the only option we had at the time for the greater good, for the people to be safe. So we understood that."
Liverpool are looking to reach a fourth Champions League final in six seasons having been beaten 1-0 by Real Madrid in the last showpiece in May. After opening the group stage with a dismal 4-1 loss at Napoli, the Reds defeated Ajax 2-1 at home and will look to bolster hopes of qualification to the knockout stages with victory over Rangers.
And speaking to the official Liverpool matchday programme, Alisson said: "We know how hard it is to achieve things in all the competitions. We couldn't do that at the end of last season, but the important thing is we fought for every competition and we arrived in the final of the Champions League.
"Obviously it is a big disappointment if you do not win and when you lose the Premier League by a one-point difference you are disappointed as well, but the only thing you can do is look for the good side of everything.
"We must put in the desire and same passion from last season, learn from our mistakes and just try to do better next time. That's what we are trying to do."
