Alison Hammond is said to be 'torn' over revealing the identity of her secret boyfriend for fear her showbiz career could put pressure on the relationship.
The 47-year-old This Morning star has had her fair share of heartache over the years but has recently revealed she has met "someone special".
A source close to the star says she is happy but unsure how to proceed.
Speaking to Closer Magazine, they said: "On the one hand she's so happy that she's found someone special — but on the other, she's scared her showbiz career could put pressure on the relationship."
"She really doesn't know whether to take a big risk by going public, or try as hard as she can to keep him secret," the source added.
Alison doesn't want to jeopardise her "loving relationship," but also doesn't see why she should have to keep it a secret.
Alison was originally forced to reveal she was seeing someone when her co-host Dermot O'Leary accidentally let it slip on This Morning.
Dermot, 49, thanked Alison for a birthday present she gave him and said it was a shame she was no longer available.
She joked: "What do you mean I'm not available? I'm available," with Dermot admitting he was confused.
Alison then confessed: "There is somebody in my life. I'm going to tell everybody.
"Thank you, Dermot, for telling everyone but there is somebody I'm dating."
While the identity of her new partner remains a mystery, their relationship is her first serious romance since her split from ex-fiancé Jamie Savage in 2017.
At the time of their breakup, a heartbroken Alison said: "I don't think I want anyone else now."
Alison was previously married to cab driver Noureddine Boufaied and the pair share their 17-year-old son Aidan.
Alison has joked that she is a little disappointed she can't flirt with people on TV now.
She tole The Sun: "Can you believe Dermot outed me on the TV? I’m a little bit disappointed to be honest with you as I can’t flirt with no one else now.
"He’s a lovely man and all I can say is that I’ve had him hidden for a year and a half. A year and a half I’ve been with him, and no one knew!"
She added: "He loves me to bits. He absolutely worships me and massages my feet every single day. What more do you want?!"
