She's now one of the most-loved presenters on British TV and This Morning star Alison Hammond is celebrating the 20th anniversary of shooting to fame on Big Brother. On May 24, 2002 Alison walked into the famous Big Brother house and it was a moment that changed her life.
A raft of messages came flooding in after Alison shared a tweet of Big Brother host Davina McCall introducing her to viewers as she waited to go into the house and presenting her audition montage." Davina explained that Alison was worried that she'd have to withdraw from the Channel Four show because she'd pulled a muscle in her bottom
"She was really worried that if we knew we wouldn't let into the house because she's injured. Bless her," said Davina, who presented Big Brother from its launch in 2000 until the reality show, in which a group of contestants known as "housemates" lived together in a specially constructed house isolated from the outside world, moved to Channel Five in 2011.
