Alison Hammond 'steals the show' with surprise appearance on Strictly Come Dancing

Alison Hammond stunned fans as she made a surprise appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.

The This Morning presenter seems to be popping up everywhere lately. She shocked fans as she appeared alongside host Claudia Winkleman on the Stricly live shows backstage.

She appeared from behind a gold tasselled curtain much to the surprise of many Strictly contestants. Claudia became excited as she embraced her in a hug.

While she wasn't there to compete, Alison still managed to "steal the show". The TV personality took on the role of reading out the voting terms and conditions - something a new celebrity does each week on the BBC One show.

And she looked amazing while doing so. She wore a purple sparkly dress, showing off her curves. Her hair was styled in a sleek bob and she finished the outfit off with hooped gold earrings.

Fans took to Twitter to admire the "national treasure". Liam said: "ALISON HAMMOND!!! I gasped so loud, she’s so f***ing iconic #Strictly."

Another user said: "Alison Hammond stealing the show whilst reading the terms and conditions. Give the girl a... 10 #Strictly." A third added: "National Treasure: Alison Hammond #Strictly."
