Alison Hammond is set to join The Great British Bake Off presenting team.
The ITV regular will bump shoulders with its current presenter, Noel Fielding, while starring alongside the tent's distinguished panel of judges, Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood.
Channel 4 bosses are set to make an official announcement in the next few days but an inside source confirmed it's already a done deal. Speaking to the Mirror, they said: "Alison is a great choice. She will bring warmth and humour to the tent in spades. We’re laughing just thinking about it.”

Alison inherits the role from comedian Matt Lucas who stepped down from the position who claimed he could no longer fit it into his busy schedule.
Her selection for the job comes after she wowed the show’s fans last year with her stint on the celebrity version for Stand Up 2 Cancer. Going up against James Blunt, Alex Jones and Joe Sugg, she said: "I do think that good food and good baking comes from the heart - and I’ve got a lot of heart."
The show has gone through many a presenter and judge, with Mary Berry, Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc all having a recurring role over the years. The Liverpool Echo has contacted Channel 4 for an official comment.
