Alison Hammond says Dermot O'Leary won't leave her alone as he suggests restraining order

There's no denying that Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond have great banter when hosting This Morning, but he may have taken it too far on Friday.

As the latest episode of the ITV show began, Dermot joked that Alison may have to take legal action against him as she admitted he won't leave her alone.

Alison told viewers: "But let's tell ya what's coming up on the show today," before turning to Dermot and saying: "Can I just say, it's nice to be back."

"I've missed you," Dermot replied, as Alison added: "I've missed you too."

"I know we speak a lot during the week but..." Dermot then said as Alison added: "I know, you won't leave me alone!"

As Dermot shouted: "Restraining order!" Alison then admitted: "I love it though, I absolutely love it!"

"That's why she had to move to Birmingham, she was gonna move down south but then she was like, 'No, I'm fine where I am'," Dermot then joked.

It was announced back in 2020 that Alison and Dermot would be the regular Friday presenters of This Morning, taking over from Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.

The hilarious duo also cover Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during half term and the holidays, and viewers seem to love them.

Alison and Dermot are often seen laughing their heads off with one another, and Friday was no different as they interviewed two women who identify as being ecosexual.

Annie and Beth appeared on the ITV daytime show live via video link from their home in San Francisco and were keen to explain what it means to have sex with the earth.

As the conversation began, Dermot and Alison appeared to be trying not to laugh as the couple described different ways in which people can pleasure the planet.

"A lot about ecosex is just really paying attention, it's allowing the sensual pleasure to multiply," they said.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
