Alison Hammond is getting ready to host the 2023 Baftas tonight alongside Hollywood actor Richard E Grant.
The 48-year-old TV personality will be hobnobbing with the stars on the red carpet as she hosts Bafta Studio - an immersive and access-all-areas experience, as part of the BBC One show.
The This Morning presenter has made a name for herself with her hilarious interviews with A-list stars over the years from getting Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling drunk to marrying The Rock.
The bubbly star has promised she's going to bring "good vibes only" to tonight's proceedings.
We take a look at Alison's life since she burst onto the screen in the early noughties on Big Brother.
Alison's net worth
Alison is thought to be worth between £1 and £4million thanks to her TV career that was launched by her appearance on Big Brother in 2002.
She landed a job on This Morning the same year and was recently promoted to hosting the show every Friday with Dermot O'Leary.
It's thought Alison now earns around £600,000 a year for her work This Morning.
Alison has also delighted fans with appearances on countless reality shows from I'm A Celebrity in 2010 to Strictly Come Dancing in 2014.
She has also fronted brands such as In The Style, Crown Bingo and DFS Furnishings to get more hard-earned cash in the bank.
Incredible weight loss
Alison has been on a weight loss journey in recent years and is looking better than ever since becoming a Weight Watchers ambassador back in April 2019.
She's been working hard in the gym lifting weights - and she has a personal trainer to keep her motivation in full swing.
When it comes to eating healthily, Alison enjoys dishes of chicken and spinach or beef mince and cauliflower rice, while she snacks on bananas or bowls of yogurt and berries.
But she also allows herself a few cheat days, and will have the occasional slice of chocolate cake to balance it all out.
At her heaviest Alison was 20 stone, though it's not clear what her weight is now.
Alison shared her own weight struggles and broke down in tears as she resonated with how the guest was feeling on This Morning last year.
The TV star said: "Can I just say something? Obviously I've had - I'm getting upset - I've had obesity my whole life. And what it is, is your regulation system is out of whack. So obviously, you can't control wanting to eat all the time."
"And I think what a lot of people don't realise, is obesity is a disease. You can't help wanting to eat all the time," she added as she broke down in tears. She was comforted by Dermot and Deirdre as she added: "Sorry, I get - sorry.
"Because I think people look down at people just because they're so big and they can't actually help it if they've got a disease. When you're in it, it's difficult. You want to eat and you want all the bad things and you know you don't look right. Sorry, it touched me."
Love life
Alison was previously married to Manchester cab driver Noureddine Boufaied.
Together, they had son Aiden, who was born on his mum's 30th birthday and turned 18 earlier this year.
Sadly, her union with Noureddine ended in divorce, but in 2014 she fell in love with single dad and security guard Jamie Savage, who she met online.
They quickly got engaged but that also wasn't to be and it was with a heavy heart that Alison announced their split three years later admitting that the agony of their heartbreak had put her off finding love again.
She was then briefly involved with audio technician Ben Kusi, who she met on Celebs Go Dating earlier in 2020.
And now she has a mystery man in her life who she has been dating for 18 months.
"A year and a half I've been with him, and no one knew! He loves me to bits. He absolutely worships me and massages my feet every single day. What more do you want?!" she told The Sun.
This weekend a new man in Alison's life was revealed as it was reported she's dating a 'handsome' gardener.
The pair are said to have fallen for each other after man came to tend to Alison's mansion.
A source told The Sun: "They love to hang out and have been for meals and down to the pub.
“They’re both down to earth and get on like a house on fire.
“She makes him laugh and Alison thinks it’s cute he still lives with his parents,” they revealed.
Inside Birmingham home
Alison lives in an ultra-modern home in Birmingham that she recently renovated with her 18-year-old son Aiden, her gay best friend Jason and his pet dog Bobby.
"My family life is so like, if you look at it from the outside you’ll be like ‘how does that all work?’" she previously said.
"Jason’s there helping me with Aiden, Aiden is there helping Jason, the dog, helping me. It is just such a good little unit and I absolutely love my home life situation I cook for my boys and home life I am winning!"
Alison loves Birmingham and has previously said that she would never leave the city.
"I like doing dead ordinary things when I’m away from work – I just dropped my son off at the Snowdome and that’s more important and more fun than all the partying under the sun," she once told Birmingham Living.
“This is who I am. I am a private person in real life but very outward going when I have an audience.
"I love Birmingham. I love everything about it. I would never leave it."
The Baftas will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on February 19.
