TV presenter Alison Hammond shot to fame on Big Brother, the reality TV show which will be returning to ITV in 2023, and many fans believed the This Morning co-presenter would be hosting the comeback.

And with a big announcement from Alison teased all the way through This Morning on Monday, April 17 some guessed that it would be that she had landed the Big Brother job. But the big news was actually about the Coronation and Alison quashed the Big Brother rumours once and for all.

Speaking before the announcement Alison said she would not be the presenter of Big Brother. Instead, she was announcing that for one day only This Morning would be presented live from the set of ITV1 soap Coronation Street for the King's Coronation.
