Alison Hammond praises 'good people' as she's overcharged £9,000

This Morning's Alison Hammond was mistakenly charged £10,000 for using a service.

Today's conversation focused on a passenger who was charged £35,000 for an Uber trip. Gyles Brandreth and Carol Vorderman were on hand to share their shock but Alison admitted she had first-hand experience with similar trouble.

The presenter did not mention the company's name as her son, Aidan, is currently employed there but began recalling when she too was charged thousands of pounds. She said: "I paid for the service and didn't know until they called me."
