Alison Hammond looks slimmer than ever in holiday snaps after detailing weight struggles

Alison Hammond looked slimmer than ever as she shared a video of her time in Dubai on Instagram on Tuesday, a month after she broke down in tears over her battle with her weight.

The This Morning presenter, 47, was inundated with comments from her followers telling her she looked 'amazing' as she showed off her figure in a colourful kaftan.

The star shared a reel of her enjoying her time in Dubai, dancing on the beach and chilling out on a hammock by the pool.

She captioned the clip: "Dubai. Feeling the vibes at @driftbeachdubai!! Can’t get enough of the reels".

One fan wrote: "You look amazing", while another added "You look amazing! Enjoy!"

A third chimed: "OMG Alison, i need that top!!! you look gorgeous. xx".

Last month, Alison was comforted by her This Morning co-stars as she broke down live on air as she talked about being obese "my whole life".

The presenter was particularly moved by a phone-in segment, where a woman had called in to admit she was worried about her teenage daughter as she didn't know how to help her with her eating disorder.

Alison said she was very touched by the young woman's story, as she tried to hold in her tears.

Speaking about the segment, Alison said: "Can I just say something? Obviously I've had - I'm getting upset - I've had obesity my whole life. And what it is, is your regulation system is out of whack. So obviously, you can't control wanting to eat all the time."

"And I think what a lot of people don't realise, is obesity is a disease. You can't help wanting to eat all the time," she added as she broke down in tears. She was comforted by Dermot and Deirdre as she added: "Sorry, I get - sorry.

"Because I think people look down at people just because they're so big and they can't actually help it if they've got a disease. When you're in it, it's difficult. You want to eat and you want all the bad things and you know you don't look right. Sorry, it touched me."

Deirdre then asked Alison what she would say to the teenager if she could.

"She needs help, I think. NHS needs to see it as a disease. People help people who are anorexic but they don't help people who are overweight and that's why so many people turn to surgery and that, we don't know what to do. It's really affected me," she said.

Dermot then turned to her to offer her his support. "Do you know what Al? Just you opening up like that, maybe that's helped her," he said, as Alison admitted: "It's so hard, people don't realise."
