Alison Hammond introduces 'my man' in stunning snap as fans hail them as 'power couple'

Fans of TV host Alison Hammond were thrilled after she posted a picture on social media with a famous face and called him "my man".

The This Morning star, who has appeared on the ITV programme for more than 20 years before being made a main host in 2021, has been spreading her wings away from the show. And on Thursday, she revealed she had landed a starring role in Stormzy's new music video for his single, Toxic Traits.

The video sees Alison playing the role of a therapist as she's sat on a sofa across from rapper Fredo who features on the track. The 48-year-old appeared composed and far from her usually bubbly, giggling ways viewers are used to seeing on This Morning.

She could be seen wearing a black blazer over a black top which had been paired with a black leather skirt and pumps, reports the Manchester Evening News. Alison also held a notebook and a pen in her hands as she asked in a serious tone: "I want you to tell me what your toxic traits are."

Rapper and singer Fredo, whose real name is Marvin William Bailey, was then heard responding to Alison as he said: "Listen I’ve just got too many man I don’t even know where to start," to which Alison then replied: "Well just start at the beginning."

Following the release of the video, Alison has made multiple posts to Instagram including a snippet of Stormzy's video, writing: "What’s your Toxic Traits? @stormzy @fredo The video has dropped! Don’t miss it." She then posted her starring moment and said: "I’m here to council you! @stormzy @fredo Toxic Traits is out now! check out the video you might spot my cameo."

But the post that got the biggest response from her 1.3 million followers was a selfie with the man himself. Stromzy could be seen beaming for the camera with his arm around Alison. "My man @stormzy," she wrote alongside the image.

And it wasn't long before fans were flooding to comment as they branded the pair the 'perfect couple'. @suzy_bling said: "Alison you n Stormzy look Beautiful together." @a.ray86 commented: "You look like the perfect couple!! Go on babes." @karencharlotteh replied: "The power couple we need."
