Alison Hammond has confirmed her new relationship during an interview on ITV's Lorraine. The This Morning presenter appeared on the show to discuss her new book but it wasn't long before conversation turned to her budding new romance.
Lorraine asked about the 47-year-old's love life after Dermot O'Leary let the news slip during a recent segment on This Morning. Speaking on the daytime show Dermot said: "You're not available anymore but if you were, jeez, what a catch!"
At the time Alison reprimanded Dermot for "telling the world" but has now opened up about her partner. In the candid chat Alison said her boyfriend makes her "heart sing" and "enriches her life".

Lorraine said to Alison: "Congratulations I know because Dermot revealed it to everybody because you were trying to keep this lovely romance under wraps." "You don't want to put pressure on anything do you?" Alison replied, before adding: "Well, all I'm going to say, I'm not going to say we're in love and everything.
"All I can say is he makes my heart sing and I feel content. He enriches my life in ways I’ve never had before."
Lorraine replied: "Alison you don’t have to say any more than that. Anybody that does that for you, that is fabulous."
Alison was on the show to speak her new book, Black In Time: The Most Awesome Black Britons from Yesterday to Today. Speaking about her book she explained that it tells the stories of other people. She said: "There's footballers in there, politicians, musicians, poets, you name it. This is the one book that is not about Alison Hammond, you'll be happy to know.
"I'm not in this book, it's not about me. This is the one book where it's about other people's legacies and making sure that legacy is alive and it lives on."
