Welsh TV star Carol Vorderman has always spoken very openly about her love life and her "special friends", revealing she has five "special friends" who all know about each other. And This Morning hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary had a cheeky comment to make on the arrangements.
While discussing with Carol and Vanessa Feltz if dogs should be kept on a leash while out walking in public spaces, Carol was talking about her experiences of walking in the countryside. She said that she did not have a dog but would love to have one which Alison quipped back: "You haven't got time for dogs! Too many friends!"
Dermot then added: "None of them are leashed" while Carol continued to laugh and said: "That is what you think!" Previously Carol has revealed to her fans and followers that she has 'special friends' to have fun with rather than a long-term committed relationship.

While appearing on Michelle Visage's Rule Breakers podcast Carol said she was not "committed to someone", was having "the best time", and had been using her "special friends" for 10 years. She told Drag Race legend Visage: "Everyone is single, it's a happy place" and explained when people ask her if she has a partner, she replies: "No actually, I've got five!"
Carol detailed that she had been special friends with one person for 11 years, one for seven years and also explained how she was defying the stereotype by having different partners. She said: “The language around a woman of particularly my generation when we were growing up, you know if you’d had more than one partner before you got married, you were this, you were that."
“Everything was derogatory about a woman... everything was judgemental. You can take that and throw it out of the window! That’s my polite way of saying what you can do with that.” You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.
