However, a number of products from the site have this week been recalled by the Office for Product Safety and Standards.
Anyone who has purchased any of the items is advised to stop using them immediately and to contact the supplier for "redress".
One such item is billed as a "DIY slide indoor waterfall with assembling tracks".
The product has a "medium level" risk of choking, with Government officials saying this is because "it consists of small objects which fit into a small parts cylinder"
The warning continues: "A child playing with this toy can place a small part into their mouths and swallow which can lead to the blocking of the child’s airway.
"The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011."
The toy has now been removed from AliExpress' UK site.
The item's AliExpress number is 005001606460220.
Other removed items include a handheld clothes steamer and a hair dryer, as well as some lamp accessories.
