Alice In Chains' Jar Of Flies Tops Billboard Vinyl Chart

Alice In Chains' EP Jar of Flies tops Vinyl Albums chart.

Alice In Chains has made a triumphant return to the music scene, as their iconic EP Jar of Flies has surged back onto the Billboard charts. Despite being a decades-old release, the EP has captured the hearts of fans once again, propelling it to the top of several important lists.

This week, Jar of Flies made its debut on Billboard's Vinyl Albums chart, claiming the coveted number one spot. This marks the second time the rock band has achieved a number one ranking on this chart, following the success of their album Dirt in 2022.

The resurgence of Jar of Flies can be attributed to a recent re-release by Alice In Chains in honor of the EP's thirtieth anniversary. Fans flocked to purchase the special collector's editions of the EP, which were made available exclusively on vinyl.

Alice In Chains' EP not only dominated the Vinyl Albums chart but also made its presence felt on several other Billboard rankings for the first time. Jar of Flies secured a spot on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, Top Alternative Albums, and Top Hard Rock Albums lists, showcasing its enduring popularity.

The success of Jar of Flies extended beyond new rankings, as the EP also re-entered familiar territory on the Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts. It currently holds the sixth position on the Top Album Sales chart and sits at number 91 on the Billboard 200, reaffirming its status as a timeless classic.

Alice In Chains' remarkable achievement with Jar of Flies underscores the band's enduring appeal and the timeless quality of their music. As fans continue to show their unwavering support, the rock legends have once again proven their ability to captivate audiences across generations.
