Alfredo Morelos teases Rangers comeback as striker shares injury recovery update

Alfredo Morelos has teased his Rangers return after posting a recovery video on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Morelos shared footage of himself during a session in the Ibrox side's gym with the caption 'Vamos' - meaning 'let''s go' in English.

The striker was ruled out for the remainder of the season back at the start of April after undergoing surgery on a thigh injury.

The 25-year-old has been forced to sit out of a number of crucial clashes - including three Old Firms in a row as well as both the quarter and semi final Europa League ties.

But the Colombian looks to be on the way to recovery before this campaign is even over, giving Gio van Bronckhorst and fans alike huge hopes for the start of next season.

Following his surgery last month, the Rangers medical team said the forward was set to join the first time during pre-season.

However, it seems that the striker is making good progress ahead of time by taking part in some recovery training sessions.
