Alfredo Morelos wasn't able to get on the pitch for Rangers - but he made sure fans still caught a glimpse of him by joining them in the stands.
Light Blues boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst has confirmed the Colombian is close to returning from a thigh injury that ended his 2021/22 season early. He's been named in their Champions League third round qualifier squad against Union St Gilloise but missed out on their opening day Premiership win away at Livingston.
Instead of taking a usual directors box seat or a place amongst the travelling squad, Morelos opted to sit in the crowd at the Tony Macaroni Arena, fans quickly eyed him amongst an away contingent from Ibrox that covered two-thirds of the stadium in West Lothian. Goals from Scott Arfield and James Tavernier sealed a 2-1 success after Joel Nouble's opener had initially put Rangers on the backfoot in their Saturday lunchtime kick-off.
