TV presenter Alexis Nunes is among guests due to attend a pop up shop from British eyewear designers Kirk & Kirk to celebrate London Design Festival.
Nunes, ESPN’s lead and only Europe-based soccer and cricket reporter, and Cameron Edwards, one half of dance act Sigma, are among those who will be attending an event at the shop in Redchurch Street on September 9.
Award winning designers Kirk & Kirk are known for distinctive eyewear which have been worn around the world by stars including Robert Downey Jnr, Jim Parsons, Oasis, Young Thug, 50 Cent, U2, Annie Lennox, Dave Stewart, Elton John and many more.
For the first time ever Kirk & Kirk will display its entire unique collection in one specially designed shop.
The shop, open to September 29, will allow Kirk & Kirk founders, Karen and Jason Kirk, to take guests on an adventure that weaves style, design, light, colour and individuality together.
The shop features virtual try-on technology screens which for the first time, customers will be able to experience a live try on, with no need for a separate app or to download a photo. Just look at the special screen and see what you would look like with the glasses on.
On Tuesday, September 20, there will be an event allowing guests to sit down and talk with founders Karen and Jason.
Retailers will also be invited to come and talk to the founders.
