Alexis Mac Allister Speaks Out On Model Ex-Girlfriend Court Battle

Alexis Mac Allister has finally broken his silence on the lawsuit that has been filed against him by his model ex-girlfriend.

Mac Allister was one of the final signings under legendary Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. The 25-year-old joined the Reds in the summer of 2023 for £35 million.

Since swapping Brighton for Merseyside, Mac Allister has quickly become a fans favourite at Anfield. Now, the midfielder has spoken out about his former partner Camila Mayan.

The social media star claims Mac Allister kept a number of her personal belongings after they split at the end of 2022. She also wants compensation for the five years they lived abroad together.

The pair went their separate ways just after Mac Allister won the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Mayan was in attendance to support her then boyfriend.

It is widely rumoured that Mac Allister was also unfaithful with Ailén Cova, who is his current model girlfriend. Now, the Argentine international has had his say.

There was no more relationship. She took her path, I took mine, and that’s it,” he explained ahead of Argentina’s 2026 World Cup Qualifier against Paraguay.

As for the other thing (the lawsuit), everything is in court, where it should be, and we are waiting. At the time we discussed what we needed to discuss, but it was clearly her decision, everything is fine and she is within her rights.”

In regards to the accusations of cheating, Mac Allister said: “I think it’s normal in a relationship; she made the decision to come out and make public things that she felt or that she believes happened.

I know how things went and that’s why I’m very calm.”

When reporters quizzed him on his current girlfriend, Ailén Cova, Mac Allister insisted that the relationship continues to blossom: “We are well, happy, building our life there in England, enjoying life together.”

Mac Allister moved to Premier League side Brighton in 2019 from Argentinos Juniors but returned to the club on loan. He made his Seagulls breakthrough in 2020, scoring 20 goals in all competitions across 112 appearances before moving to Anfield.

Since moving to Liverpool, he has proven to be an integral part of Arne Slot’s side. The best football betting sites in the UK price the Reds at 13/10 to win the league.
