Alexis Mac Allister opens up about potential Liverpool move
Alexis Mac Allister has said he is "very calm" about the prospect of joining Liverpool as his transfer from Brighton edges nearer.
While Liverpool have remained tight-lipped on any sign of a deal being agreed, reports in Argentina over the past week have claimed the 24-year-old is close to completing a move for a fee in the region of £60million. Mac Allister was in tears after Brighton's final Premier League game at Aston Villa last Sunday having helped the Seagulls to European qualification for the first time in their history.
And the Argentina World Cup winner has now been asked directly regards the strong interest from Liverpool and the chance to work with Klopp.

"If I do not have to leave the club I will continue to be very happy there," he said, speaking to Miami-based Argentine news outlet Infobae. "But I am aware that there are possibilities (to move) and if a good offer arrives for the club and for me we will evaluate it.
"I have no doubts that (the Premier League) is the best league to play in and that is why I am aware that I would like my next club to be in the Premier. I really enjoy being there.
"I'm not going to complain, I'm 24 years old, I'm a world champion, I play in one of the best leagues in the world and I feel that my career is growing, but I still have my feet on the ground and I really want to improve, becoming a better person and better player every day. We'll see what the future brings."

Liverpool-linked defender Micky van de Ven has previously revealed that it would be a dream to play at Anfield.
The Wolfsburg centre-back has been touted for a move to Merseyside following the arrival of sporting director Jorg Schmadtke. During the chat with Wolfsburger Allgemeine Aller-Zeitung, Van de Ven revealed the "goosebumps moment" when he heard 'You'll Never Walk Alone' play during his trip to Anfield.
"I once went to the Liverpool stadium with my dad," he revealed. "That was over Christmas on Boxing Day. Liverpool vs Arsenal. That was madness.
"Then when 'You'll Never Walk Alone' comes (on) - that's a goosebump moment, that was very cool. It's a dream to play there."
