Today, Alexei Navalny's mother has made a heartfelt plea to Vladimir Putin for the immediate release of her son's body. In a video released outside the Siberian prison where Navalny passed away, she appeals directly to Putin, asking to finally see her son. Navalny's team has reported that the Russian government is withholding his body for a chemical examination, hinting at the possibility of poisoning with a nerve agent.

In her emotional message to Putin, Navalny's mother stands outside the Polar Wolf Colony, where her son took his last breath. She expresses her anguish at not being able to see her son for five days and demands the prompt return of his body for a proper burial.

Despite facing challenges and defying authorities, Navalny's mother displays remarkable courage by traveling nearly 2,000 kilometers to the remote and harsh region to advocate for her son. Her plea underscores the ongoing struggle for justice and transparency in Navalny's case.

Navalny's widow has also been vocal in seeking answers and accountability. She has urged European lawmakers not to recognize the upcoming Russian election, which is expected to secure Putin a fifth term.

The family's persistence in demanding the return of Navalny's body and seeking international support highlights their determination to hold Russian authorities accountable and keep the spotlight on the circumstances surrounding Navalny's tragic death.
