Alexandre Lacazette has seized the opportunity to mock Ivan Toney after Arsenal's win on Saturday.
The Gunners saw off the Bees 2-1 at the Emirates to continue their charge for a top four spot.
The success also serves as revenge after Brentford secured a memorable win over the north London side in the opening game of the season.
Arsenal were down 2-0 across the capital in a game that saw their resources tested as Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were forced to miss the game.
After Brentford's win Toney put on a tweet which angered some fans.
He said: "Nice kick about with the boys."
But, just over six months later, Lacazette has put out the exact same tweet, word for word, after his team's success.

Emile Smith Rowe, scorer of the game's opener, also piped up, responding to his teammate's tweet by saying: "Fun session today."
Bukayo Saka also scored for Arsenal at the Emirates with Christian Norgaard grabbing a consolation in injury time for the visitors.
Toney was absent for the Bees, who have lost six of their last seven and face being dragged in to a relegation battle.
The striker spoke candidly back at the start of the season about Arsenal and their current state of affairs.
Mikel Arteta is in the midst of rebuilding the London side and Toney believes they will remain without silverware until they bolster their forward ranks.
"Arsenal fans are going to batter me for this, but you see Arsenal at the moment and they’re not the best," Toney told Baller Talk in an interview which went live in September.
“There was a difference [between the Championship and the Premier League ], don’t get me wrong. But it wasn’t crazy, thinking if you make a mistake, it’s going to end up in the back of the goal.
“I just didn’t see them how they used to be. You used to look at Arsenal and think [they were] crazy and they were going to win this game, win this game.
“These days, I don’t see them winning nothing any time soon until they get a striker.”
Aubameyang was allowed to leave for nothing last month after being frozen out under Arteta.
Lacazette and fellow forward Eddie Nketiah both have their contracts expiring in the summer which could leave Arsenal lacking in options in the final third.
They made moves to sign Dusan Vlahovic in January but missed out and will likely have to make additions in the summer.
