Alexandre Lacazette could be about to set Celtic up for a bumper pay day when his Arsenal contract expires.
The 31-year-old will bring the curtain down on his career on his five year spell in the English Premier League.
But when his deal is up on June 30 it's the destination that could spark a domino effect leading all the way to Celtic Park.
Reports in France suggest that the striker is set to return to his former club Lyon next month.
It's claimed that once the deal is over the line the Ligue 1 side will look to cash in on Moussa Dembele.
RMC Sport report Dembele has been informed of Lacazette’s imminent arrival that may see him leave the club despite having a contract until June 2023.
Despite a blow for the Lyon talisman, it's music to the ears of those behind the scenes at Parkhead with no shortage of suitors for the 25-year-old.
He netted 22 goals in 36 appearances despite a lacklustre campaign for OL which saw the club miss out on Europe.
That has put the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham and Fenerbahce on alert with Celtic eagerly awaiting to see the final price tag.
The Premiership champions would bank up to 15 per cent of the profit Lyon make from the sale.
However, a move has to be made this summer to see the financial boost head to Glasgow's east end, with Dembele free to negotiate a pre-contract move for nothing away from France in January.
