Singing sensation Alexandra Burke has sent shockwaves after she hinted that she and footballer Darren Randolph have taken a massive step in their relationship as she referred to him as her 'hubby' in a sweet Instagram post.
The former X Factor winner sparked speculation with an adorable update about her first Mother’s Day since welcoming her first child with her footballer beau.
Alexandra, 34, and Darren, 35, have kept the name and gender of their tot private.
The Hallelujah hit singer thanked Darren for organising a special celebration for her as she penned: "My first Mother’s Day as your mama. Feeling very blessed. Can’t thank the hubby enough for making me feel so special and loved.”
Alexandra also thanked her little one and paid tribute to her late mum in the tear-jerking Mother's Day post.
"My little baby Grape - thank you for making me a better person. For making me the best version of myself and showing up in ways I thought I never could. I am so lucky to be your mum.
"To my mummy. Happy heavenly Mother’s Day. I’m thinking of you always and I hope I’m making you proud. I wish you were here to see this bundle of joy who is helping to heal my heart everyday."
After Alexandra called her beau Darren 'hubby', fans flocked to the comments to share their congratulations.
"OMG does this mean that you've got secretly married? If so, massive congrats. You are the best mum," one fan gushed.
"Hubby!!! Please tell me we didn't miss out on the wedding," another echoed.
"Darren is your hubby? soooooo you guys got married? OMG, best news ever," someone else commented.
While a fourth quipped: "GUYS! Calm down! Maybe she just calls him that as a pet name. Doesn't mean she's married omg."
The pair were first linked in May 2021, when it was reported that they had been on a number of dates together.
Alexandra gave birth at the beginning of July, announcing the news on Instagram.
She and Darren both shared a sweet snap of the little ones feet, captioning the post: "Welcome to the world our little Grape."
"We already love you more than words can say," the proud parents added.
