Who Is Alexander Zverev’s Girlfriend?
Star tennis player Alexander Zverev’s girlfriend is German actress, model and television presenter Sophia Thomalla. The pair have reportedly been dating since 2021, meeting through a mutual friend the year previous.
Thomalla is a celebrity in her own right having made her breakthrough in a TV programme in 2006. Aged just 17-years-old at the time.
Both of her parents are actors and naturally, encouraged Thomalla to follow in the footsteps. In the late 2000’s and early 2010’s, Thomalla’s popularity increased when she appeared on Germany’s Next Top Model.
Furthermore, the now 35-year-old has been photographed in Playboy and was voted as FHM‘s third sexiest women in the world. Currently, she has 1.4 million followers on Instagram.
Thomalla has appeared in a number of films, TV shows and continued to model for several famous publications. She also advertises cosmetic products and did so for Lidl back in 2014.
Thomalla is often by Zverev’s side when he travels around the world to compete in various tennis tournaments. She is expected to be present during the 2025 Australian Open.

However, doubts have recently emerged about Zverev’s participation owing to a bicep injury sustained in the United Cup. The 27-year-old will be hoping to make a speedy recovery.
Rest and sleep will be vital for Zverev and it’s his period of recuperation that brought about some hilarious comments from his model girlfriend on Thursday (January 2).
“Every evening, before he goes to bed, he goes to the toilet three times, and then back to bed, back and forth like that,“ Thomalla told RTL.
“I get the urge to cry every night and think to myself: now just come to bed,” she concluded. We wonder what Zverev will make of his partner’s comments!
Interestingly, Thomalla used to date former Liverpool and Newcastle United goalkeeper Lorius Karius. The pair coupled up for two years before going their separate ways in 2021.
Prior to that, Thomalla was married to Norwegian singer Andy LaPlegua before divorcing in 2017. She has also been linked with British musician Gavin Rossdale. Reportedly dating from 2017 until 2018.
