Newcastle United handed Alexander Isak a start in the FA Cup clash at Sheffield Wednesday as he made his return from a long lay off with a thigh injury.
The Sweden international has not appeared since the 1-1 draw against AFC Bournemouth last autumn. Back then suffered an injury setback when the £63million man picked up a thigh injury.
There was also big news in goal for United as Martin Dubravka returned after his loan stint at Manchester United to play in the FA Cup. Javier Manquillo was at right-back while Jamaal Lascelles and Sven Botman were in the heart of defence and Jamal Lewis took his place at left-back.

In midfield Elliot Anderson, Sean Longstaff and Joelintin were named as the trio Howe felt were capable of steering them into the last 32. Isak was joined in attack by Jacob Murphy and Matt Ritchie.
There was no place in the squad for winger Allan Saint-Maximin.
