Alexander Isak has already made it clear he is 'hungry for more' as Newcastle United's record signing looks to use his cup-winning experience to help his side end their trophy drought at Wembley.
Isak is one of only a handful of members of the Newcastle squad who have played in a major final before and that big-game nous may yet prove an added bonus in the Carabao Cup showpiece on Sunday. After all, not only did Isak start the 2020 Copa del Rey final for Real Sociedad against bitter rivals Athletic Bilbao - the striker helped his former side end their own lengthy wait for silverware that night.
In fact, Isak finished as the competition's top scorer with seven goals - even scoring a double in the quarter-final win against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu - as Sociedad won their first trophy in nearly a quarter of a century. Newcastle have had an even longer wait for silverware, of course, and Isak will be desperate to end that 54-year drought against Manchester United.

"Those experiences were very big for me," he previously said in the La Liga documentary, the Swedish Eritrean footballer. "Obviously, to be able to help the team achieve those great things was very nice and something you are proud of but, at the end of the day, that's something that becomes a memory. That's something you can look back at when you're older and be proud of.
"You have to move on, you have to set new goals and you have to keep working to make new stuff like that so that's not something I am thinking to live on or to think about too much. Of course, I am proud of what I have done, but I am always hungry for more."
