Reported Arsenal target Alexander Isak has previously admitted of his admiration for Thierry Henry.
The Gunners are in need of a centre-forward this month given Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future at the club remains uncertain whilst both Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are into the final six months of their contracts with the club.
Mikel Arteta's first choice was Dusan Vlahovic but as football.london reported earlier this month, the player always favoured a move to a Serie A side before eventually joining Juventus on Friday.
Now, the north Londoners have been linked to Lille's Jonathan David as well as Real Sociedad star Isak, who has made it no secret that Arsenal legend Henry is a huge idol of his.
Speaking to Min Stora Dag last year, the Swedish international said: "I have a lot of football players who I have looked up to & have taken a lot from, but if I have to name one, I would say Thierry Henry, who I have really liked all the time & where I see many qualities that I have tried to follow."
In fact, Gunners icon Nigel Winterburn has also compared the two players, claiming that the 22-year-old's play style reminds him of Henry.
"We might have to take a chance on somebody and with Isak he reminds me a little of Henry with the goals he scores," Winterburn told FreeSuperTips.
"When Arsene Wenger brought Henry in, he played as a centre forward, but not in the role of a centre forward.
"He used to drift into clever little areas in midfield and on the left-hand side and if you look at Isak, and a lot of his goals, they come from a very similar area.
"But who knows, if we do bring somebody in then they need to hit the ground running."
