Alexander Isak insists he would be open to playing in the Premier League one day as Arsenal target the Swedish sensation.
The Real Sociedad striker has emerged as an alternative to Dusan Vlahovic after talks stalled with the Fiorentina striker.
The Athletic claims the 22-year-old has a release clause in his contract that the Gunners can trigger although the north Londoners side feel they can negotiate a lower fee.
It isn't the first time Isak has been linked with a switch to the Emirates as his name was thrown into the mix in the summer when Arsenal were in the market for a striker.
It certainly seems to be a move he would seriously consider after admitting that he dreams of playing in England eventually.

"I am in a good place at the moment, I am very happy, but one day it would be nice to play in England as well," Isak recently told The Independent.
"They have six or seven of the biggest clubs in the world, it is a very high level, and of course one day it would be an alternative. Every player wants to be the best version of themselves and reach the highest possible level.
"I have expectations for myself that I’m trying to fulfil, so we’ll see where the journey takes me in future."
It will be music to Arsenal fans' ears to hear he also has an affinity for the north Londoners.
In an interview with Min Stora Dag alongside Sweden team-mate Dejan Kulusevski, Isak revealed his childhood footballing idol was none other than Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
The rising star also reveals his game is modeled on the French and believes they share similar qualities.
He said: "I have a lot of football players who I have looked up to & have taken a lot from, but if I have to name one, I would say Thierry Henry, who I have really liked all the time & where I see many qualities that I have tried to follow.”
Isak also has another link to the Gunners, having played alongside Martin Odegaard for a season when he joined Sociedad, a campaign in which the Arsenal midfielder was at his brilliant best.
Isak's presence up front and Odegaard's creativity behind him saw the pair develop a good understanding as the latter racked up seven goals and provided nine assists in 36 games for Sociedad in 2019-20
They also formed a brilliant relationship off the pitch.
Odegaard revealed they became the 'best of friends' after staying in the same hotel together upon their arrival in the summer of 2019 and spending plenty of time with one another over the proceeding months.
