Alexander Armstrong was left with goosebumps after a record-breaking round on Pointless.
The host was taken aback as a group of contestants managed to secure the best round ever on the BBC show, impressing by getting the lowest eight answers on the whole board.
It was a music question that the eight contestants were tasked with answering - and hosts Richard Osmon and Alexander Armstrong were thrilled as the group managed to get the eight lowest answers.
After the round, Richard was thrilled as he said: "I think this might be a pointless first, so I want to commend all of you.
"Congratulations. 16 names on the board, there's eight of you and you came up with the best eight answers on the board. Never seen it before, ever ever. These are the best eight answers on the board. You couldn't have played the round any better, congratulations."
As Alexander added: "I've got goosebumps, wow. I've actually genuinely got goosebumps."
Richard went on to praise the team - but he felt bad for contestant Cassie who was knocked out for a second time.
"But how about that, to get knocked out in that round as well," he added, "Poor Cassie, she's been knocked out once after getting a pointless answer and again by being in the best round in Pointless history."
Alexander previously opened up about his and Richard's close bond on the show.
"Because we do four shows a day and sometimes 50 a month, and it’s entirely unscripted, we have to get on because there are so many times when you rely on the other person having your back," he shared.
As Richard added: "I think viewers love that sense of a relationship. With Ant and Dec and Mel and Sue, people sense immediately that they’re friends – and warm to that – which I hope is what people think of us."
They have filmed well over 1000 episodes now, and at the time, Alexander couldn't believe how "exciting" it was.
"I can't tell you how exciting this is for Richard and me," he said, "I imagine it's probably fairly obvious how much we love making Pointless - but to pass the 1000th episode mark is a great tribute to a show that so many people work so hard on."
