Alex Scott has been praised after appearing on live TV in Qatar wearing a OneLove armband.
It comes after England and Wales said their captains will not wear OneLove armbands at the World Cup in Qatar because they could face an instant yellow card for doing so. Harry Kane and Gareth Bale were due to wear the armbands as a gesture of solidarity with the LGBT community, in a country where homosexuality is punishable with up to three years in prison.
But football associations from England, Wales, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany today put out a joint statement that said they were not willing to risk "sporting sanctions".

Qatar outlaws same-sex relationships, and Alex Scott had a message for FIFA president Gianni Infantino on Sunday. On BBC One, she said: "You are not gay. You will never understand travelling to a country where you are fearing for your life, because of who you choose to love".
On Monday, the former professional footballer and pundit was seen on the BBC again, live from Qatar, ahead of England's match against Iran. She wore a OneLove armband over her blue dress.
Taking to Twitter, James said: "I love Alex Scott", while Judy Wright said: "Well done Alex Scott! Nailed it". Liam Beattie called her a "legend", while Sean Woodcock said: "100% behind this, Alex".
