Alex Salmond has been urged to give up any money made from the show he presented on a Russian state-backed broadcaster.
Scottish Lib Dem leader Alex Cole-Hamilton urged the former First Minister to hand over the fees to help the people of Ukraine.
Salmond, who led the country for seven years, caused fury in 2017 after it was announced he would front a current affairs programme on RT.
The broadcaster is widely perceived to be a mouthpiece for Putin ’s regime and critics claimed Salmond’s integrity had been damaged.
In a statement last month after Russia’s murderous invasion of Ukraine, Salmond said the show would be suspended “until peace is re-established".
The show is produced by Slainte Media, whose principal activity is described in official listings as “motion picture, television, and other theatrical casting activities”.
Salmond and co-host Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh were co-owners between 2018 and 2020, but the latter is now the major shareholder.
Slainte Media's most recent balance sheet reveals equity of £334,218.
Cole-Hamilton accused Salmond of lending RT "legitimacy and influence" in Scotland.
He said: "The decent thing now would be for him to surrender those proceeds to charities helping Ukraine and its people in this their most desperate hour.
“Salmond has shamed the office he once held and he has shamed Scotland. If he wants to begin to atone for that, then ridding himself of his Russian money and helping the Ukrainian people would be a good start.”
Salmond did not respond to an email.
