Alex Reid and his fiancée Nikki Manashe are expecting twins after a seven-year IVF battle.
The 47-year-old and his partner Nikki, 36, revealed they are now expecting non-identical twins after welcoming their daughter Anastasia in 2021.
She is now 13 weeks pregnant and said she was once told by doctors that she 'won't be able to have children'.
Nikki was implanted with two embryos, a seven-year-old one and another one from her IVF cycle from when she got pregnant with Anastasia.
She revealed: "It's crazy a woman, who was told 'you probably won't be able to have children', and has had fertility struggles is now going to be a mum-of-three."
"We were just absolutely shocked to be honest."
She told MailOnline: "I know people will say 'well how can you be shocked because you had embryos put in?' but Anastasia was a twin as well and we lost her twin really early on in pregnancy."
She added that 'everything is going so perfectly' and that the twins are 'healthy' and are 'growing how they should be'.
The couple are 'super excited' to welcome two bundles of joy into their expanding family.
In July 2021, the couple shared the exciting news after welcoming Anastasia into the world.
She revealed on Instagram that she is a mother to a little girl by sharing a poem about the joys of welcoming a baby.
The lyrics read: "Welcome to the world little Miss Reid I loved you from the very start, You stole my breath, embraced my heart. Our life together has just begun You're part of me my little one.
"As mother with child, each day I grew, My mind has always been with thoughts of you. As you lay next to me I dim the light, I whisper, "I will always say I love you" every night.
"I loved you from the very start, You stole my breath, embraced my heart. As mother and child our journey has just begun, My heart's yours forever my perfect little one."
Under the lovely update, fans took to the comments to send the couple and new addition well wishes.
One penned: "Amazing news! Congratulations have been waiting for your news today so incredibly happy for you."
Others joined in: "Congratulations this is so beautiful" and "Congratulations both, what a journey."
