Richard Foster has pinpointed the one key trait from Alex Lowry's game that impressed him as he tipped the youngster to be a top player for Rangers.
Michael Beale handed the midfielder a start in last night's 3-0 win over Motherwell at Ibrox as the new boss made it four wins on the trot since his return north of the border. Victory sets up the Light Blues nicely for their Old Firm derby clash with Celtic as they bid to reduce the gap with Ange Postecoglou and his troops to just six points.
One player who is expected to go all the way is Lowry with both the supporters and management holding out high hopes for the youngster. He was handed a big chance under the lights in Govan last night and did not disappoint former Rangers defender Foster. Analysing Lowry on BBC Sportscene, the pundit said: "We see his quality when he gets on the ball. He always looks to turn forward and play forward.

"But what I loved about him was his willingness to run from those deeper positions to join the attack. He's breaking forward and runs 50-yards. Yes, he gets the ball and has a shot but there was times in the game he would make those runs knowing he was creating space for those around him.
"I think to have that intelligence at the young age he is shows he could go on to be a real good player for Rangers.
"Me, as a hard-working player. That's all I had, but to have that as well as the skill and ability that he has got, he could go on to be a top player.
"Just his willingness to drive forward I was impressed with."
