Alex Jones has updated her fans after taking a break from The One Show. The Welsh presenter, from Ammanford, has been replaced by Emma Willis on the BBC weekday programme as she takes some time off over half term.
The 45-year-old has been enjoying quality time with her three children Teddy, Kit and Annie, whom she shares with husband Charlie Thomson. And in her most recent Instagram post, Alex revealed she had headed back to Wales with her family.
Posting a compilation video of pictures from St Fagans National Museum of History, which is situated near Cardiff, Alex revealed she also loved frequenting the museum as a child. She wrote: "It might have been a cloudy old day but today I took the children to somewhere I loved going as a child and we had a great time.

"If you haven't been…go!!! So much to see. Such a unique experience! @museumwales."
St Fagans is one of Europe's leading open–air museums and Wales's most popular heritage attraction. It offers an inisght into how people lived and worked in Wales from Celtic times to the present day. There are also old-fashioned shops, the clog workshop, valleys terraces through the ages and the iconic Vulcan pub is currently being rebuilt on site. You can read more on that, here.
Commenting on Alex's post, one follower said: "Oh my god - the best place ever - St. Fagans. I loved it and still do."
"Used to love going here on school trips the bara brith from the bakery used to be amazing," said another, while a third commented: "One of my favourite places, my grandparents used to take us when we were children regularly and it never got old or boring and now I take my children there."
And a fourth said: "St Fagans, what a special place. I remember taking my children there when they were younger and they found all the houses magical. I can’t wait to take my Grandson there too." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
