Alex Cochrane calls on Hearts to show Celtic 'no respect' and take bookings if needed

Alex Cochrane has called on Hearts to not show Celtic any respect and take bookings if they need to stop the Scottish champions.

Ange Postecoglou takes his side to the capital for the Saturday lunchtime kick-off as Robbie Neilson and his troops aim to get back to winning ways and put together a run of form before the World Cup break. It's been a tough campaign for the Jambos between domestic and Europa Conference League football on top of an increasing injury list.

The good news for Hearts is that they could have a few bodies back for the clash with Celtic at Tynecastle - but Peter Haring will miss out due to protocols. The Jambos, despite their woes, are still within touching distance of third spot with Cochrane wanting his team-mates to start at '100 miles an hour' and use the atmosphere from the crowd to their advantage.

He also wants Neilson's men to get up in the faces of their opponents and if it is needed take a booking for the team.

He said: “It’s one of those games where sometimes you have to take bookings against Celtic.

“If you give them too much respect they can potentially walk all over you. From that game we stuck in there from the start to the end and we knew it was going to be tough.

“On Saturday we’ve got the crowd behind us, we know what Tynecastle is going to be like and we need to be fully at it and start at 100 miles an hour.”
