Alessandro Bastoni and Inter's problems, Djed Spence race and Antonio Conte's transfer requests

Tottenham's transfer window is set to bring plenty of new faces to the club for Antonio Conte and the supporters are already awaiting their second signing of the summer.

The transfer window is still yet to open but Spurs already have one new player heading through the door in 33-year-old Ivan Perisic, who been snapped up on a free transfer once his Inter Milan contract ends this month. Conte and Tottenham's managing director of football also want another Inter player in the shape of 23-year-old centre-back Alessandro Bastoni. The talented defender is currently on international duty with Italy and while he is happy to remain with the Serie A club, circumstances at the Milan side may end up pushing him towards the exit door.

Tottenham are targeting new players in various positions, including a right wing-back - with Djed Spence high on their list of targets, a new striker and a forward-thinking central midfielder, as well as signing replacements for any players who head out of the door and the plan is for there to be a number of exits as requested by Conte. Steven Bergwijn, despite being a player Conte likes, wants to be one of them, with the Dutchman having publicly stated this weekend that he needs to leave in order to get regular football.
