Alesha Dixon said she was still unaware who will represent the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool.
She joined the Lorraine show to discuss her role in the upcoming event. Alesha will deliver the live shows to over 160m people with the help of Graham Norton, Hannah Waddingham and Julia Sanina.
The singer and presenter admitted it's one of the biggest events she's ever been a part of but her nerves are kept at bay by excitement. She said: "It's an honour to be asked to host what might arguably be the event of the year. I can't wait.

"We've got a big responsibility stepping in for Ukraine and we want to represent their culture and the fact that it's in Liverpool, the heart of music, I think that there's going to be a riot."
Lorraine acknowledged the Eurovision "revival" after Sam Ryder's success in the Turin contest last year. Alesha added: "I think with Sam doing so well, it took us to another level and I think people genuinely care. The thing is, music unites people. It makes people feel good, and I think we need it more than ever so let's embrace it. Let's all get into the Eurovision spirit."
After her discussion on Sam, she let slip she still doesn't know who will be representing the UK in Liverpool but it hasn't stopped her from getting excited. Alesha said: "I can't wait to see who represents the UK. It's going to be incredible."
