Alejandro Garnacho shows support for Jesse Lingard as Man United forward posts cryptic message

Manchester United starlet Alejandro Garnacho has shown his support for Jesse Lingard as the England international edges towards an Old Trafford exit.

Lingard hit the headlines on Tuesday following United's 3-0 win over Brentford after his brother slammed the club for being 'classless'. Lingard has been with United since he was a child and broke through under Louis van Gaal.

Bruno Fernandes, Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane all scored in the win over Thomas Frank's side. For Lingard, he was an unused substitute in the final home game of the season - potentially his last in Manchester United colours.

Lingard posted a caption-less picture of himself as a youngster at United. Garnacho replied to the comment, showing his support with praying hands and a red heart emoji.

Garnacho made his United debut during the draw with Chelsea after producing a number of scintillating performances for the U18s and U23s. Despite scoring against Liverpool for Neil Wood's side on Sunday, he was on the bench for Ralf Rangnick's men against Brentford.
