Alejandro Garnacho's goal celebration vs Wolves explained as Man United ace booked after special gesture

Manchester United prodigy Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench to secure an important three points for his side and get another goal in his breakout season.

United are seeking to confirm qualification for next season's Champions League and they took another step towards securing that with the three points against the West Midlands side. Anthony Martial put United ahead in the first half after being found in the box by Antony.

United eventually put the result beyond doubt in second half injury time. Bruno Fernandes slipped in substitute Garnacho and the teenager fired home off the post to secure the points for Erik ten Hag's side.

Garnacho has recently been out with an ankle injury but made his return to action as he came off the bench against Wolves. The 18-year-old then netted his fifth goal of the campaign for United's first team.

As part of his celebration, Garnacho ended up putting the ball under his shirt and sucking his thumb. There is a very good and lovely reason behind this celebration.

The United attacker and his girlfriend Eva Garcia recently announced they are expecting their first child together. He posted a picture on social media of him and Eva holding up a tiny United shirt with his name and squad number on the back.

Taking to Instagram, Garnacho wrote: "Where life begins, and love never ends...

"Planning your arrival and knowing you’re going to be here to complete our lives fills us with love and excitement. We can't explain how we feel to be able to fulfil our biggest dream together.

"We're counting down the days to meet you, Dad and Mom already love you so much Enzo."

The United man also took his top off during the celebrations, leading to him being shown a yellow card by referee John Brooks.
