Manchester United could be without rising prospect Alejandro Garnacho for Sunday’s final day clash with Crystal Palace.
The club’s Under-18s player of the season has returned to training from illness, but still might not be ready in time. The striker scored twice in United’s FA Youth Cup win over Nottingham Forest earlier this month and has been named on the first team bench for the last six league games.
He made his senior debut in April’s draw with Chelsea, coming on for a late cameo. However, it looks like Garnacho may not get the opportunity to play in front of the onlooking Erik ten Hag on Sunday, who will be present at Selhurst Park this weekend.

In his final press conference as United interim boss, Ralf Rangnick said: "Unfortunately, Alejandro was ill in the last couple of days. He might well be in the squad but I'm not sure if he's physically, after this illness, capable and fit enough to play."
Meanwhile, the German admitted that there were still a few question marks over the fitness of other United players.
Jadon Sancho
The winger has missed United’s last three matches with tonsillitis, but returned to training this week. He is said to be recovering but it’s doubtful whether he will be fit enough for Sunday.
Marcus Rashford
The same also applies for Rashford. The out-of-form forward is due to be assessed pre-game after sitting out the loss to Brighton due to a bout of bronchitis but remains a doubt for the fixture.
Eric Bailly
The defender has not played for United all calendar year after suffering an ankle knock in the Africa Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast in January. He picked up a back problem ahead of the Brighton game, the severity of which is unknown but it looks as though he has already played his last game for the club ahead of a likely summer exit.
Luke Shaw
Shaw and his partner welcomed the arrival of his second child on Friday and will miss training on Saturday. The England international picked up a nasty foot injury that had kept him out of action since April but returned to training this week. However, he remains a doubt.
Rangnick said: "Luke Shaw's wife gave birth to their second baby today and he was supposed to be training tomorrow. But apparently he isn't. So we have to wait and see if he would at least be available for the bench on Sunday.”
Paul Pogba
Pogba is still nursing a calf injury he picked up in the 5-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield. It has long been suspected that the game would be his last for United as he leaves on a free this summer and will almost certainly miss the trip to Palace.
