The trial of actor Alec Baldwin has attracted attention due to the presence of experienced attorneys representing both sides. Special prosecutors Kari Morrissey and Erlinda Johnson, who are full-time criminal defense attorneys, were appointed by Santa Fe’s First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies to prosecute the actor. On the other hand, Baldwin's lead defense attorney, Alex Spiro, has a background as a former prosecutor at the district attorney’s office in Manhattan.
