Aldi worker shares most annoying things that customers say - like 'scan slower'

Every wondered what supermarket employees are really thinking whilst you're busy doing the food shop?

Well here's your chance to find out.

Former Aldi employee Kelcey Atkinson has revealed what really makes her tick - and you might be one of the culprits.

The 19-year-old from the UK shared a list of some of the regular questions she's asked by shoppers on a daily basis on her TikTok account, @kelceyatkinsonx, and many other supermarket employees could relate.

She began: "Things I, an Aldi worker, hate hearing."

She started off by saying that one of the things that annoy her the most is being told to scan slower - and unsurprisingly, this happens very often.

Then she says she's regularly asked why the food is so cheap.

Other questions she gets, included: "Have you got it round the back?" and "can I speak to your manager?"

Kelcey also gets frustrated when she's asked whether she gets a discount, when items will be back in stock and whether something can be put aside for a later date.

Since being posted, the video has racked up more than 1,700 likes and dozens of comments from people who were keen to share their thoughts.

One person said: "Don't forget 'can you scan the bags first' when the bags are at the end of their shopping."

Another wrote: "I work in Lidl and hear the exact same things."

A third commented: "Mood I can confirm."

Someone else put: "Same omg it's so annoying."

An Aldi shopper previously revealed four hacks she swears by to beat the speedy cashiers - and people were in hysterics at her comical techniques.

Uyen shared "moves you should try to keep up with the cashiers when shopping at ALDI," on TikTok where she's known as @uyenthininh, and it's since gone viral.
